DUITIES FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Scope of Major Duties:
- Liaise/Coordinate with project team members and outside parties in preparing design brief, appointment of consultants, master program, financial budget and obtaining all necessary permits and approvals;
- Responsible for the entire project’s development progress, quality, and cost control;
- Work with all parties to plan and design the project; supervise and monitor the design and other consultancy services to ensure that the works will fulfill all functional, operational and quality requirements;
- Work closely with project team members and consultants during tender procurements and control the budget throughout the development process; being responsible for closely monitoring cash flow of the project;
- Monitor the design development and construction progress and mitigate project risk in all aspects;
- Report to Project Director on progress, financial status and other major issues of the project;
- Direct site team to monitor the execution of the works, ensuring the required time, cost, quality elements and smooth handover are achieved.
- Document decisions arrived during meetings and compile meeting notes and red-line drawings
- Monitor project budget, schedule and scope of work
- Update Principal on project status and identify/forecast any critical problems
- Contract management for identification of scope completion and identify add services as necessary
- Strong commercial acumen, broad perspective, good management and negotiation skills, integrity and capable to work independently.
- Contract negotiation and experience in negotiating and administrating architectural/interior design contracts.
